"Intoxicate Me, I'm A Lush"

The most recent Britney Spears video leaked onto the interwebs tonight (via ontd). I must say, while Radar was one of my favorites off of Ms. Spears's Blackout days, I feel horrendously bored with it (song and video) right now. Maybe after a few viewings it'll grow on me. Or maybe not. What's with the horse innuendos? It's a bit overboard. I still prefer the scandalous If U Seek Amy video, if you ask me.

On a happier note. Brit-Brit is looking just as stellar as she did in her pre-breakdown, pre-head shaving, Slave For You days. Girl's got her abs back. How does she make it seem so easy?

"I'm Your Biggest Fan, I'll Follow You Until You Love Me, Papa-Paparazzi"

The rain started to roll into Boston, giving me time to catch up on Lady GaGa's latest artsy video venture, the music video for Paparazzi. When I initially listened to The Fame last summer, Paparazzi jumped to the top of each and every of my iTunes playlists and ringtone choices. I loved the pop culture fanatic message of the song and what it says about today's contemporary culture, tied with GaGa's sarcastic approach to it.

GaGa's video for her upteenth (okay, only 4th) single from The Fame proves to continue down her pop arty, pop culture questioning, cheeky and dark image that she's created. Entertainment Weekly wrote that they, "Have no words" for the eight-minute long epic of a music video. She gets thrown off of a balcony by a skeezy boyfriend, has an orgy with a bunch of Daisy of Love girls, appears with teacup (!!!) and does something mugshot worthy. Tasteless? Watch for yourself. Entertaining? Yes, probably, although if I want to watch a video warning about the dangers of paparazzi, I'll probably stick to the standby Britney Spears Everytime vid. Another personal favorite.

Check it out. Brit-Brit's new video, If You Seek Amy. Love it, because I do. Talk about living a double life in this video... think Brit's trying to send us all a message?

It's like I checked into rehab, and baby you're my disease

Uh, hi. Yum. Please tell me you all have checked out the new Rihanna video for Rehab featuring my most favorite celebrity crush, J. Timberlake. The song is great - one of my favorites off of Good Girl Gone Bad since it came out. It's quality breakup (and maybe makeup and hook-back-up -- or maybe that was only in my case) music back in 2007. Regardless. We have Mr. Timberlake taking a (clothed, unforch) shower in the desert. In a hot black beater. We have him rolling around on a car with Rihanna -- which I don't mind, because I just superimpose my face on her body in my mind. It's a hot video. Mainly because he's hot. But I'll stop gushing. But watch the video - it turns up the temperature in my cubicle at least.

Sidenote: My mom claims that I have a celeb crush on Justin Timberlake because he has an uncanny resemblance to my boyfriend. Coincidence? Is my family making this resemblance in my mind? Did I score the ultimate jackpot of a boyfriend? Will my children be absolutely gorgeous and boy band stars one day? Please, refer to my Facebook (if you're friends with me that is. Heh. Heh. Heh. Sorry to everyone else), and give me your two cents.

You say I'm crazy, I got your crazy

I cannot lie. I have been waiting for this comeback for years. Since before the shaved head incident, and the disaster-ridden interview with Matt Lauer on Dateline NBC. I have been waiting for Brit-Brit to get her act together, get her hair looking good, and be the pop princess I idolized throughout my middle and high school years. Thank god, it seems like she's back (and I knock on wood as I say this).

Over the past few days, temporarily freed from the everyday tasks of my job, I found the new video for Womanizer on YouTube. I missed the premiere which was, oddly enough, on 20/20 the other night, but figured it's for the better since YouTube gives the extended, "uncensored" video. A few observations I have...

1.) P and I both agree that the video is Toxic version 2.0. Even the guy in the video (the womanizer, I assume), looks to be the same actor. Maybe the only way to truly get back into the swing of Brit's hayday is to actually go back in time. If the video seems oddly remincient of 2003 or so, then so can our memories -- to a time before Kevin Federline, babies, acting like white trash -- you get the jist.

2.) Also with the look of the video, Britney's look has somehow reverted back to 2003. How she can somehow look as good as she did four years ago, I do not know. The hair. The makeup. The body (has anyone else seen those sauna scenes?!). I can't even work off 5 freakin' pounds. Some people have all the luck.

3.) Britney with a black haired bob < href="http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1596736/20081009/spears_britney.jhtml">this in late November. An exclusive documentary? Britney finally talking about everything? Finally, the television special I've been waiting for. Let's hope she bashes her mother's tell-all book (I know I would).
