"OMG, anna is like...madonna"

"September is the January in fashion..."

The September Issue, R.J. Cutler's documentary film about the making of the September 2007 issue of American Vogue seems, from the trailer at least, a caricature of life behind the scenes of what many refer to as the Fashion Bible. Intentional or not, the majority of the clips in trailer seem right out of The Devil Wears Prada and Bruno. With flavor of the week fashion designer Thakoon and Vogue's editor-at large André Leon Talley actin a fool, it seems a bit contrived...but, who am I kidding, although I am not sure how 'realistic' it will be, the trailer certainly guarantees it will be entertaining. I'd check it out. You?

The Hills Are Alive (with drama)

Everyone's (especially mine and P's) favorite guilty pleasure, The Hills made it's return to MTV's Monday nights - and hallejuah that it's back so I don't have to suffer through episodes of The City anymore. While it might be LC's last season (tear!), the show is still as good as ever. In the hour of The Hills drama last night, viewers saw basically everything that was in the season 5 trailer. Spencer being a skeeze (typical) and hitting on a bartender (classy)! Spencer getting into a barfight! Heidi showing up at LC's birthday party! Heidi running home to Colorado! Now that I think of it, other than LC just being there in a few scenes, she's basically written out of major storylines. Regardless, her red lipstick looked fantastic on last night's show.

Next week brings The Hills at it's normal 10pm timeslot and MTV's new show, College Life at 10:30pm. A throwback to freshman year of college? Count me in, I always love to reminsce.

March 16th!

Praise the Upper East Side gods. March 16th is only a few weeks away (finally) and here come the start of the new promos for the final stretch of the second season of the best show ever, Gossip Girl.

I, personally, watched the last one of Dan getting slapped over. And over. And over. Power to S, Lonely Boy deserves it after hooking up with skank-teacher.

But what am I to do with Monday nights now?

It's official. Shed a tear. No new Gossip Girl episodes until March 16th. LAME. In the meantime, here are two promos from the CW to tide you over. They, personally, make me want to poke the skank-teacher's eyes out. But maybe that's just me...
